CHAP. XII.
Of Adoption.
1. All those that are justified, God vouchsafed, in, and for the sake of his only Son Jesus Christ, to make partakers of the Grace 211of Adoption; by which they are taken into the number, and enjoy the Liberties, and 212Priveledges of Children of God; have his 213name put upon them, 214receive the Spirit of Adoption, 215have access to the throne of Grace with boldness, are enabled to cry Abba, Father, are 216pitied, 217protected, 218provided for, and 219chastned by him, as by a Father; yet never 220cast off; but sealed 221to the day of Redemption, and inherit the promises, 222as heirs, of everlasting Salvation.
