What and where is this?
Zeboim was one of the five cities of the plain in the Valley, listed alongside , , , and Bela (later called ) in Genesis 10:19 and 14:2. The kings of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim, and Bela joined battle against four Mesopotamian kings in the valley of Siddim (Genesis 14:8), leading to the capture of Lot. God's overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah is described in Deuteronomy 29:23 as including Admah and Zeboim, and Hosea 11:8 invokes 'Admah' and 'Zeboim' as examples of total destruction. Separately, a valley of Zeboim near in appears in 1 Samuel 13:18 as a raiding party's destination, likely a different location.
