Who or what is this?

Mountain in the southern wilderness — also called Horeb — where sees the burning bush, hears the divine name, and is sent back to Egypt. After the exodus, Israel encamps before it and the Lord descends in fire and cloud to give the Ten Commandments and the covenant law, and Moses ascends to receive the tablets and the pattern of the tabernacle.
