Sepharvaim is a Mesopotamian city whose inhabitants the king of brought to resettle in after the deportation of the northern kingdom of Israel (2 Kings 17:24, 31). The Sepharvites worshipped their own gods Adrammelech and Anammelech, burning their children in fire as offerings. When the king of Assyria questioned whether any of the gods of the nations had delivered their lands from him, Sepharvaim is cited as a nation whose gods had not saved it (2 Kings 18:34; 19:13; 36:19; 37:13). The exact location of Sepharvaim is debated, with proposals including Sippar on or a site.
