Port city on the northern Aegean coast serving as the harbor for . After 's vision of the man at , he and his companions sail straight across the Aegean by way of and put in at Neapolis, marking the beginning of the gospel's spread into Europe. It is also the port from which Paul later sails back across to Troas at the end of the third missionary journey.
