Who or what is this?
Mysia was a region in the northwest of Minor, bordering the Aegean Sea, the Hellespont, and the region of . It appears briefly in Acts 16:7–8: as and his companions sought to go into Bithynia, the Spirit of did not permit them, so they passed through Mysia and came down to . There Paul received the vision, leading the mission westward into Europe. Mysia itself was not an evangelistic destination in the narrative but rather a transitional territory in the second missionary journey.
