Who or what is this?
This Luz is mentioned briefly in Judges 1:26. When the captured the city of (previously called Luz), they spared a man who showed them its entrance. That man then traveled to the land of the and founded a new city, which he also named Luz — a name it retained in the narrator's day. Beyond this single verse, no further details about this northern Luz appear in the biblical text.
