Who or what is this?
The House of the Forest of was a major public building constructed by King , described in 1 Kings 7:2–5 as one hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide, and thirty cubits high, supported by four rows of cedar pillars with cedar beams above them. Its name derived from the visual impression created by the vast interior forest of cedar from Lebanon. It served as a royal armory: 1 Kings 10:17 records that Solomon stored three hundred golden shields there, and 22:8 refers to it as a place of arms. The structure was among the prestigious building projects Solomon completed in after and was admired by the during her visit.
