What and where is this?

A perennial spring in the Valley on the eastern slope of the City of in , serving as the main water supply for the ancient city. It is the site where was anointed king at David's command (1 Kings 1), when the priest and Nathan the prophet brought him there on David's mule to be anointed and proclaimed king in response to 's attempted seizure of the throne. 's famous water tunnel, described in 2 Kings 20 and 2 Chronicles 32, channeled the 's water through solid rock to the Pool of within the city walls as a defensive measure against siege.
