A hill in the territory of Ephraim, specifically identified as the location in which son of Nun was buried. According to Joshua 24 and Judges 2, Joshua died at the age of one hundred and ten years and was buried in the border of his inheritance at Timnath-serah, which is in the hill country of Ephraim, on the north side of the hill of Gaash. The torrents of Gaash are also mentioned in the lists of 's mighty men in 2 23 and 1 Chronicles 11, where one of his warriors is identified as Hiddai of the brooks of Gaash.
