What and where is this?

Aegean island in the Dodecanese off the southwestern coast of Minor, known in antiquity for the cult of Asclepius and the physician Hippocrates. 's ship anchors at Cos on the first night after leaving on the journey toward at the end of the third missionary journey. It appears only briefly in the travel narrative of Acts 21:1.
