Who or what is this?
Cana of is a village in the hill country of Galilee, identified as the hometown of (John 21:2). It first appears in John 2:1–11, where , his mother, and his disciples attend a wedding feast and Jesus turns the water of six stone water pots into wine — a sign that reveals his glory and prompts his disciples' belief. John 4:46–54 records a second episode at Cana, where a royal official from travels to ask Jesus to heal his dying son; Jesus speaks the healing word without going in person, and the son lives, a second sign the Gospel attributes to Cana.
