province along the southern shore of the Black Sea in northwestern Minor. On the second missionary journey and his companions attempt to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of does not allow them, redirecting them toward and the vision. Bithynia later appears in the address of 1 among the regions of the dispersion to which the letter is sent.
