Who or what is this?
Bethsaida is a town on or near the northern shore of the Sea of , identified as the hometown of the apostles Philip, , and (John 1:44; 12:21). performs several notable miracles there: he heals a blind man in two stages ( 8:22–26) and feeds the five thousand in a deserted place near Bethsaida ( 9:10–17). Despite these works, Jesus rebukes the city for its unbelief along with Chorazin and , saying it would be more tolerable for and in of judgment (Matt 11:21; Luke 10:13).
