Beth Jeshimoth is a town in the plains of , east of the near the northern end of the . Numbers 33:49 places the final encampment extending from Beth Jeshimoth to before the crossing into . In the tribal allotments it was assigned to (Josh 12:3; 13:20), and lists it among the towns of Moab that would face judgment (Ezek 25:9), reflecting that it reverted to control.
