Who or what is this?
A border town between the territories of and near the lower Valley and the northern shore of the . It appears in the Judahite boundary description of 15:6 and again in the Benjaminite boundary list of Joshua 18:19–21, where it is counted as a town within Benjamin's allotment. The name may mean "house of the partridge." Beth Hoglah features in no narrative episodes and is known solely from these allotment lists.
