Who or what is this?
A brook or wadi in the southern Negeb near , mentioned in the account of 's pursuit of the who had raided Ziklag and carried off captives (1 30). When David and his six hundred men reach the brook Besor, two hundred are too exhausted to cross and remain behind with the supplies while David presses on with four hundred. After the successful recovery of the captives and spoil, the men who had stayed at the brook Besor are recognized by David as equally entitled to share in the plunder.
