Who or what is this?

A royal city in the northern part of the land, whose king joined the coalition assembled by Jabin of to resist Israel's advance under . The coalition was defeated at the waters of , and Achshaph's king is listed among those slain (Joshua 11–12). After the conquest, the city was included within the territorial allotment of the tribe of Asher (Joshua 19:25), becoming one of the settled towns on Asher's eastern border.
