Who or what is this?

Zebul served as the ruler of under Abimelech, the son of , and plays a pivotal role in the episode recorded in Judges 9. When Gaal son of Ebed stirred up the citizens of Shechem against Abimelech, Zebul sent secret word to Abimelech of the rebellion. He then manipulated Gaal into confronting Abimelech's advancing forces at the city gate, taunting him as the battle began. After Gaal's forces were routed, Zebul expelled Gaal and his brothers from Shechem, securing his master's hold on the city.
