High priest under Ahaz who built a replica of a Damascene altar in Jerusalem at the king's command, as recounted in 2 Kings 16.

Urijah was the high priest in during the reign of King of . When Ahaz traveled to and saw an impressive altar there, he sent Urijah its design and instructed him to have a replica built before he returned. Urijah complied, and upon Ahaz's return the king used the new altar for his offerings, displacing the bronze altar of the Lord. The episode is recorded in 2 Kings 16 and illustrates the religious syncretism of Ahaz's reign. 8 also names Urijah as one of the faithful witnesses to Isaiah's oracle, possibly the same priest.
