Who or what is this?

Righteous and devout man in waiting for the consolation of Israel, to whom the had revealed that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord's Christ. He comes into as Joseph and Mary present the infant , takes him in his arms, and blesses God with the Nunc Dimittis, declaring that his eyes have seen God's salvation prepared for all peoples. He warns Mary that a sword will pierce her own soul.
