Who or what is this?

Sheshai was one of the three — the Anakim being a people of great stature associated with — along with his brothers Ahiman and Talmai. When the spies visited Hebron they encountered these men, and their imposing presence contributed to the fearful report that discouraged Israel from entering (Num. 13:22). After the conquest, drove out Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai from Hebron (Josh. 15:14), and the same event is recalled in Judges 1:10 in connection with 's campaigns.
