Who or what is this?

Sherebiah was a of exceptional ability whom specifically requested and received from Casiphia to accompany the returning exiles, being described as "a man of understanding" (Ezra 8:18). He and his sons and brothers — eighteen men in all — were entrusted with part of the silver, gold, and temple vessels brought back to , and he is listed among those who helped Ezra explain the Law to the people in 8:7. He also appears leading the Levites in public praise and confession in Nehemiah 9:4–5, and his name is among those who sealed the covenant in Nehemiah 10:12.
