Who is this?
Oholiab son of , of the , was appointed by God alongside Bezalel son of Uri to serve as the chief craftsman of the tabernacle (Exod 31:6; 35:34; 36:1–2; 38:23). The text says God filled him with wisdom, understanding, and knowledge in all manner of workmanship — including engraving, weaving, and embroidery in blue, purple, and scarlet, and fine linen — and also gave him the ability to teach. He and Bezalel oversaw all the skilled workers who built and furnished the sanctuary.
