Who or what is this?
Nethanel son of Zuar was the appointed prince of the tribe of during the wilderness period. He is named in the census of Numbers 1 as the leader responsible for counting the men of his tribe (Num 1:8), and in Numbers 2 his division was assigned a position in the camp and on the march. He offered the second dedication gift at the altar — identical in content to the gift of Nahshon of before him — on the second day of the tabernacle's consecration (Num 7:18–23). The KJV spells the name Nethaneel.
