Who or what is this?
Cupbearer to in the citadel of who weeps at news of 's broken walls and obtains royal permission and supplies to rebuild them. Arriving in Jerusalem he inspects the ruins by night, organizes the work family by family along the wall, and beats back the threats and ridicule of , , and Geshem. As governor he confronts oppression of the poor, enforces Sabbath observance, restores priestly courses, and pleads at the close of his memoir to be remembered by God for good.
