Maharai the Netophathite was one of the elite warriors listed among the thirty mighty men of in 2 23 and 1 Chronicles 11, identified as belonging to the Zerahite clan of . In 1 Chronicles 27 he is further named as the officer commanding the royal course for the tenth month, one of twelve monthly commanders who each served with twenty-four thousand men. Netophah was a village near in Judah, and the Netophathites are mentioned among those who returned after the exile.
