Who is this?
A son of Ezer listed among the chiefs in the genealogies of Genesis 36 and 1 Chronicles 1. The Horites were the original inhabitants of the land of Edom before the descendants of dispossessed them, and Jakan's father Ezer was himself one of the Horite chiefs. The name appears as Akan in Genesis 36:27.
