Who or what is this?
Ruler of the synagogue who falls at ' feet and pleads for his dying twelve-year-old daughter. As Jesus goes with him the woman with the discharge of blood touches his garment and is healed, and during the delay messengers report that the girl has died. Jesus tells him only believe, takes , James, and John with him to the house, and raises the girl with the words Talitha cumi, charging the family to give her something to eat and to tell no one.
