Who or what is this?

Long-promised son of and , born in their old age and named for the laughter that greeted the promise. Abraham binds him on an altar in the land of until the Lord provides a ram in his place, and his father's servant later brings from to be his wife. He sojourns in , digs wells reopened from his father's day, and unwittingly blesses instead of in his old age. He is buried by his sons in the cave of and remembered in the recurring covenant phrase about the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
