Imnah was the firstborn son of Asher, one of the twelve sons of . His name appears in Genesis 46 among the members of Jacob's household who went down to , and in Numbers 26 the Imnites (those descended from Imnah) are listed as one of the clans of the tribe of Asher. The record in 1 Chronicles 7 also lists him in the Asherite genealogy. The biblical text gives no further narrative about Imnah beyond these genealogical appearances.
