Who or what is this?
Son of Herod the Great who rules and Perea as tetrarch during ' ministry. He imprisons for condemning his marriage to and reluctantly orders his beheading after his step-daughter dances at his birthday feast. records that when learns Jesus is a he sends him to Antipas, who questions him and mocks him before sending him back, becoming friends with Pilate that day.
