Who or what is this?

Hakkoz is named in 1 Chronicles 4:8 as a descendant of in the lineage of Chelub, within the genealogical section tracing the sons of Judah through and his relatives. He is listed as the father of Anub, Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel son of Harum. The name also appears in the context of a priestly family called Koz or Hakkoz in 2:61 and 3:4, 21, where descendants of Hakkoz are priests who could not prove their genealogy and later a descendant Meremoth helps rebuild 's walls. Whether the Judahite Hakkoz and the priestly Hakkoz line are the same is unclear from the text.
