Who or what is this?

Eliphelet is listed among the sons born to in in 2 5:16 and 1 Chronicles 14:7. The Chronicles passage enumerates thirteen children born to David in Jerusalem by multiple wives and concubines. Two sons named Eliphelet appear in the full Chronicler's list of David's Jerusalem sons (1 Chronicles 3:6 and 3:8), suggesting the name was given to different sons, possibly one dying in infancy. This first Eliphelet is recorded only in the royal genealogy, with no further narrative.
