Who is this?
Bernice was a daughter of I and sister of King II and . She appears in Acts 25–26 alongside her brother at , where the governor presents the case of the apostle . The two hear Paul's extended defense and his account of his conversion, and afterward Agrippa tells Festus that Paul might have been set free had he not already appealed to . The New Testament records no conversion on Bernice's part; she functions in the narrative as a figure of royal authority who witnesses Paul's testimony.
