Who is this?
was one of the sons of Korah the , listed in Exodus 6:24 alongside and Abiasaph as the sons of Korah. He belongs to the division of the tribe of Levi. His father Korah became infamous for leading a rebellion against and in the wilderness, but the text records that Korah's sons did not die in the judgment (Numbers 26:11). The line of Korah's sons continued as a recognized Levitical clan and gave rise to the guild of temple singers credited with several Psalms in the Psalter.
