Who or what is this?

Amram was a son of and grandson of Levi, placing him within the priestly lineage of Israel. He married Jochebed, his father's sister, and together they became the parents of three pivotal figures in history: the lawgiver, the first high priest, and the prophetess. The book of Exodus recounts how Jochebed hid the infant Moses to save him from 's decree, an act of faith that 11 attributes to Amram and Jochebed together. Numbers 3 and 1 Chronicles 6 include Amram in the Levitical genealogies, and his name became attached to the broader Amramite division of the clan.
