Adonibezek was a king encountered by the combined forces of and at the opening of the Book of Judges (Judges 1). He was defeated and captured at , whereupon the cut off his thumbs and big toes. Adonibezek acknowledged this as a just retribution, stating that he had himself done the same to seventy kings who now gathered scraps under his table. He was brought to , where he died. His self-condemning speech is one of the striking moral vignettes of the conquest narrative.
